Aarsleff Ground Engineering is excited to announce the investment of four new piling and geotechnical rigs to expand and enhance its already impressive fleet.

Aarsleff have already taken delivery of its new Klemm 702-3G and Klemm 909-3G this Autumn, which expanded Aarsleff’s geotechnical offerings in soil nailing, drilling & grouting, ground anchors and mini piles.

Aarsleff’s Operations Director, Jody Parkin, part of the deciding group for the investment, said:

There are so many combinations and variations which require specialist plant, and we try and cater to all scenarios whether it be large diameter self-drill, restricted access long reach along with the typical small diameter exploratory drilling.

In the new year, Aarsleff will also take delivery of a Junttan PM16 piling rig, an ABI TM17 Leader rig and a Volvo EC380L excavator with a Movax SG75 high frequency pile driver attachment.

Steve Wilkinson, Aarsleff Ground Engineering’s UK plant manager, commented:

The major investment shown by acquiring the above machines will allow us to offer an unbeatable service with an enhanced fleet and state-of-the-art machinery.

The ABI TM17 is a great investment for Aarsleff’s sheets department. The rig will allow Aarsleff to offer bespoke services that were previously not available.

The delivery of the Junttan PM16 will replace one of Aarsleff’s older Banut 700 piling rigs, helping to reduce the age of the overall fleet, and accompany Aarsleff’s Junttan PMX22s and Banut 300s rigs that were bought in early 2017.
