SCOPE OF WORKS:  89 Piles:
                                            66 – Type 4, 250mm, 13m
                                            20 – Type 4, 250mm, 8m
                                             3 – Type 8, 300mm, 10m

CONSTRUCTION PERIOD: September – October 2023

At the end of September 2023, Aarsleff mobilised to a site in Prestwich, Greater Manchester in order to deliver a small scale driven precast piling project to support an ongoing residential development. Working for Wigget Construction, we installed 89 piles in total for of 250mm sq and 300mm sq. The piles ranged between 8 and 13 metres long and were installed over 6 working days.

As is key for all housing developments, Aarsleff added value for the client by maintaining strict working procedures through hours worked and vibration monitoring in order to consider respect for the local community.
