Junttan PMx22 Video

Aarsleff Ground Engineering, one of the UK’s leading contractors of driven precast piles and ground engineering solutions has added two new Junttan rigs to its expanding fleet of rigs.

The PMX22 rigs will provide much-needed capacity to accommodate increasing orders, in addition to providing an element of future-proofing as the company continues on its growth strategy and the exploration of new market opportunities.

Both of the rigs are Junttan PMX22s, one fitted with a 5/6t Shark hammer, and the second a 4/5/6t Shark hammer and will be put to good use on a variety of projects spanning the commercial; utilities; infrastructure and civils sectors. The two new rigs join the company’s recent acquisition of two Banut 300 ’midi’ rigs, which Aarsleff has specified for light applications on minimal operating platforms or for restricted access and residential-type projects.

Arriving the first week of November, together all four rigs represent an investment of approximately £2.4 million.
Speaking about the two new rigs, Kevin Hague, General Manager at Aarsleff said:

“These rigs represent a significant investment by Aarsleff and will not only provide extra capacity to meet growing orders, but also the versatility to tackle new and challenging projects across all sectors, including the new market sectors the company has recently entered. Investment is one of the key drivers of the company’s continued success, and demonstrates Aarsleff’s optimism regarding the UK economy, the strength of the construction sector and the many opportunities it presents now and in the future.”
