Aarsleff successfully installed 2,500nr. precast & steel tubular piles consisting of 300mm, 339mm & 400mmdiameter sized piles. The total pile meterage was approximately 40,000. The piling was required for the construction of a warehouse and external machine storage at Tilbury Docks.
The project required a structurally sound piling solution within a tight programme, necessitating continuous design development. Aarsleff collaborated closely with Careys through weekly design meetings, optimising efficiency and adaptability. The specific pile diameter and reinforcement types are shown below.
To address project-specific requirements, Aarsleff supplied Centrum cast piles, deviating from standard configurations for a tailored approach. A dedicated on-site supervisor ensured precision, efficiency, and seamless execution.
