Over ten days in April 2024, Aarsleff Ground Engineering were on site in Skegness, delivering foundations for the new further and higher education facility in the area. TEC Partnership works to develop further and higher education tailored towards vocational skills which meets local needs and the new hub in Skegness aims to help over 1,000 residents in the local area into employment over the coming years. This will deliver growth in the local economy and enrich the community. With a focus on delivering quality education, the college will provide vocational courses in a wide range of subject areas, including construction, engineering, hospitality, tourism, digital, and more. The main contractor on the project is Hobson & Porter.

The college has been founded on driven precast concrete piles and Aarsleff installed 298 to form the foundations. 257 250 sq mm piles and 41 300 sq mm piles were installed over a period of nine working days.
