Supporting your project
What is piling?
One of the most well-known foundation techniques, piling is the process of driving or boring foundations through the ground along a certain length of area to carry and transfer loads. Timber piles have been in use since ancient times, when people used piles for constructing foundations on weak peat soils near rivers. Timber has been joined by steel and concrete to improve force capabilities and a whole host of installation techniques have been developed. Aarsleff Ground Engineering have been working as a piling contractor in the UK for over 30 years and we are confident in our ability to add value to your site.
Our driven precast piles are manufactured by sister company, Centrum Pile Ltd, at their fully automated factory in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
