Sectors We Operate In

We have delivered steel tubular piles to clients across the UK in diverse sectors including:

  1. Commercial Buildings Steel piles are extensively used in the construction of buildings, particularly for high-rise structures, commercial complexes, and large-scale residential properties. They provide the necessary foundation support capable of handling heavy loads and resisting strong winds.
  2. Infrastructure Critical infrastructure projects such as bridges, highways, railroads, and airports rely on steel piles for foundational support. These projects often require deep foundations to ensure stability and safety over long periods, even under heavy traffic or adverse environmental conditions.
  3. Marine In marine environments, steel piles are essential for constructing docks, piers, seawalls, and offshore platforms for oil and gas extraction. Their resistance to corrosion (especially when treated) and their strength make them suitable for withstanding harsh marine conditions.

Our Carbon Savings

97% of our carbon emissions lie within scope 3, our supply chain, which is why we understand the importance of working with providers who share the same goals. All our steel tubular piles are sourced from John Lawrie Tubulars.

John Lawrie’s Life Cycle Assessment demonstrated that their repurposed tubulars save 97.21% of embodied carbon per tonne when compared with a newly manufactured prime steel product. They were awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development last April.

By working with them over the past 12 months, Aarsleff has contributed to a saving of 5,010.66 tonnes of C02e. Working with Aarsleff Ground Engineering as your piling contractor creates value for every element of your project.
