Aarsleff has a skilled in-house team of civil, structural, mechanical, geotechnical, marine and process engineers who work at the highest level of standards to design and deliver cofferdam solutions throughout the UK. Our team are highly experienced in the area, ensuring that the structures we deliver are the right solution for your project, at the highest quality and value-engineered to deliver the safest price.

Our cofferdam experts also offer consultancy throughout the design phase and, if needed, during the installation process. With our design team in-house, this enables us to quickly adapt to on-site changes and ensures that projects are completed to the highest quality with minimal impact on the programme if soil conditions differ from the investigation.

Aarsleff ’s level of expertise makes them highly competitive and ensures optimum working practices while on-site. Furthermore, the close partnership between the design and construction teams stimulates innovation that benefits not only clients but also the communities that the projects serve.

Health and safety is a crucial aspect of Aarsleff’s business operations. Efficient Stock & Diverse Fleet

At Aarsleff, we hold a large stock of sheet piles and other structural materials at our depot in Doncaster, enabling us to swiftly respond to site requirements and provide quick lead-ins without supply chain delays. Our diverse fleet varies from piling drivers and vibratory hammers to excavators, cranes and other specialised equipment. We utilise our machinery to perform various techniques on-site such as sheet piling, earthwork, piles, ground anchors and groundwater lowering.

Sustainable Cofferdams

Aarsleff understands the crucial importance of preserving the environment. To minimise our impact as much as possible, we meticulously plan and execute our manufacturing and operation processes with sustainability in mind.

Through ongoing monitoring and adjustments to working practices and equipment, we can improve our environmental impact of noise and vibration on-site. For instance, we can reduce sound emissions at the source by shrouding the hammer during the construction of cofferdams. For surrounding areas where vibration sensitivity is a concern, the height at which the hammer falls can be finely controlled to minimise the effects of pile driving.

We also prioritize the reuse of steel sheet piles, 70% of the sheet piles in our Doncaster depot are used. This not only offers sustainability benefits through material reuse but also commercial benefits for our clients.

Other Services

Besides cofferdam construction, Aarsleff also offers the following specialist piling and retaining wall services:
