At Aarsleff, we hold a large stock of sheet piles and other structural materials at our depot in Doncaster, enabling us to swiftly respond to site requirements and provide quick lead-ins without supply chain delays. Our diverse fleet varies from piling drivers and vibratory hammers to excavators, cranes and other specialised equipment. We utilise our machinery to perform various techniques on-site such as sheet piling, earthwork, piles, ground anchors and groundwater lowering.
Aarsleff understands the crucial importance of preserving the environment. To minimise our impact as much as possible, we meticulously plan and execute our manufacturing and operation processes with sustainability in mind.
Through ongoing monitoring and adjustments to working practices and equipment, we can improve our environmental impact of noise and vibration on-site. For instance, we can reduce sound emissions at the source by shrouding the hammer during the construction of cofferdams. For surrounding areas where vibration sensitivity is a concern, the height at which the hammer falls can be finely controlled to minimise the effects of pile driving.
We also prioritize the reuse of steel sheet piles, 70% of the sheet piles in our Doncaster depot are used. This not only offers sustainability benefits through material reuse but also commercial benefits for our clients.
Besides cofferdam construction, Aarsleff also offers the following specialist piling and retaining wall services:
