Happy St Patricks Day! Aarsleff Ground Engineering are lucky to have been joined this week by budding film students from the Media department at Newark College, part of the Lincoln College Group. The college has partnered up with companies in the local area to plan, film and make a promotional video for Aarsleff as part of their second-year projects.
Commencing on the 20th February, with a target completion of Thursday 31st March, the team of media students have been meeting with Aarsleff at their head office in Balderton, Newark to discuss their ideas, pitch their final concept and coordinate the shoot and final edits for a company video.
The team have been creating storyboards, coordinating interviews with key staff members, taking photographs of the head office and filming within Aarsleff’s wholly owned subsidiary Centrum Pile state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Aarsleff’s Marketing Coordinator Jessica Banham said:
“We have really enjoyed the experience of working with the students from Newark College. The 3-man team comprising Jake Hall, Joe Draghi and Wlodek Lichwa have been enthusiastic, hardworking, creative and committed through the entirety of their project and we wish them the best of luck in their final grade and indeed their promising future film careers!”.
