“In the construction industry, they don’t think quite as creatively so I’ve got all the departments on board to make people realise how important marketing is, which I think has been a success. The thing that’s important to me – and I’d have failed otherwise – is if I didn’t get everyone else to buy into what I do. People are coming to me with the information they want to share, rather than me going to them, because they know the benefits of it now.”
Builders’ merchant Frank Key Ltd sponsors the inspirational woman of the year category.
Head of human resources Justine Fawzi said: “Frank Key Ltd have chosen to support the award for the inspirational woman of the year as we believe the nominees contribution as both ambassadors and as role models to all generations of women in business is invaluable.
We’d like to play a part in cutting through conceptions of gender bias sectors, promote diversity and empower women to be brave and believe there are no barriers to ambition in their industries.
At Frank Key, we want women to achieve what they want to achieve, whether that’s a leadership role, part-time role or just balancing work with other responsibilities and interests.
