Aarsleff Ground Engineering is delighted to be sponsoring a table at today’s Award of Courage presentations on behalf of the Rotary Club of Newark, and The Rotary Club of Newark Castle. The event is being held at the Cedric Ford Pavilion, Newark Showground. The Rotary of Newark has asked local schools and colleges to give consideration to those students who have exemplified courage in the face of personal adversity and difficulty. This is not a competition, but an event to show both community and business support to these inspirational young people.
The presentation will be made to six young people from Newark and the surrounding District by the District’s Governor, and in the presence of the Chairman of Newark and Sherwood District Council, The Town Mayor and Mayoress and finally the editor of the Newark Advertiser.
Aarsleff’s Managing Director Chris Primett said:
“The Newark Children of Courage Awards is a truly unique event that honours and recognised courageous young people in Newark and the surrounding areas. Hearing the children’s stories really is extraordinary, and I look forward to celebrating their bravery, generosity, selflessness and courage today.”
