Main contractor Readie Construction awarded Aarsleff with the piling contract for the DC4 unit on the new park. The contract involved installing over 16,000 Linear meters of piles to support the concrete floor and the structural frame of the new unit.
Commencing on site mid-May 2019, Aarsleff utilised two of their Junttan PMx22’s and their PM20 to drive the 1202no. 250mm & 300mm square precast piles. The piles were driven to a maximum depth of 19m.
Aarsleff’s Senior Contracts Engineer Parth Patel managed the project, and said,
“We had some initial programme issues when we commenced the precast piling at the beginning of May, but by working with Readie Construction and their client we were able to get back on schedule and complete the install of piles within the set programme.”
